Silicone products

We produce a wide range of silicone products like Osram rubber, screw rubbers, stuffing, silicone disks (1-10 mm width) that are used at manufacturing luminescent tubes.

Silicone has excellent heat and cold tolerability between -60°C and +200°C, and it can be expanded to 260-280°C by additional heat treatment. It is chemically resistant, except for concentrated acids and bases; it is not noxious to health and has perfect electronic features. Hardness: 40-90 shore

Their most important feature is heat tolerability and the ability to keep their basic technical features in a broad temperature scale. They are excellent insulators, as well as in their ageing properties. They are resistant to many chemicals; they can be processed economically and easily.

By an appropriate additional heat treatment it can be used for food and medical industry purposes.

Its chemical resistance depends on the extent of cross-linkedness. Dilute solutions of acids and bases do not affect its structure. It does not swell in polar solving agents (polyvalent alcohols, ketones); on the contrary, it does swell significantly in apolar agents (hydrocarbons, mineral oils, petrol).
